Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy Northeastern University, Boston MassachussettesEver since Greg Sterner was in high school, he knew he wanted to help people get fit, strong and stay that way. Greg decided to pursue his passion and graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
For the past ten years he has been helping people get in the best shape of their lives as a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and a Nutrition Specialist through the American Academy of Sports Dietitians and Nutritionists (AASDN).
In addition, Greg has also been helping people overcome injuries and obstacles to fitness as a Physical Therapist, with his elite certification as a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), a title only a small percentage of the country hold, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Greg was eager to take his knowledge and experience helping people one step further, and has recently opened Fitness Together, a one-on-one private personal training studio in the heart of Point Loma at Liberty Station. Fitness Together specializes in one-on-one workouts with your personal trainer in a private training suite, where clients can work on individual goals and where trainers are sensitive to special conditions, such as injuries.
In addition to changing the lives of his clients, Greg has volunteered and spoken to senior groups on such topics as arthritis and physical training. He has also co-presented seminars in La Jolla and Aspen, CO on sports performance training for athletes in all realms of sports. Greg, his wife Kara, and new baby daughter, Gabriella enjoy getting outside and being active in the great San Diego weather. They reside in Mission Hills.
Palani Mak, ACT, ISSA CPT
Originally from the Island of Oahu Palani Mak, has an extensive background in athletics, personal training, and fitness instruction.
His training and skills encompass Basketball, Track and Field, and Football, He played 1 year of College Football at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA. Palani is an ACE, and ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and has been personal training for over a decade in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Las Vegas Athletic Clubs and Qua Baths and Spa at Caesars Palace where he was both the Head Trainer and Lead Trainer.
He is most known for his BOOT CAMP classes, as well as many other formats that include sport-specific training, strength, core stability, and functional training. He is very passionate about taking others step by step, to accomplishing their goals.
Dustin Momand, ACE CPT
Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences Cal. State San MarcosSince he could walk, Dustin has been driven by the desire to be active. Growing up in Washington and Montana, he spent much of his youth exploring the great outdoors and playing a variety of sports. After realizing his love for the ocean and all that the beautiful California Coast has to offer, Dustin found his way to San Diego.Here, he graduated from California State University San Marcos, earning a B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Health Sciences. Dustin’s experiences as an Athletic Trainer Assistant at the collegiate level as well as being a Physical Therapy Aid eventually lead to his desire to become a Personal Trainer. He continued his education by becoming an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer and now hopes to help others enjoy fitness and health as much as he does.
Dustin is committed to challenging his clients to achieve their optimal fitness goals through safe and healthy individualized workouts, tailored to each person’s needs and background. Understanding the importance of science based training, Dustin is committed to constantly researching the evolving field of health and fitness and continuing his education to bring the most current methods and techniques to his workouts.
In his free time, Dustin loves to surf, hike, run, and be outdoors or in the ocean. You can often find him running the beautiful cliffs of San Diego, training to run his next marathon.
Jamie Sobeleski,
Bachelors in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University, North Carolina
Jamie is a former Division I track athlete who earned her BS in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University. She is currently pursuing her MS in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. Jamie is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and former spinning instructor. Jamie loves helping others get fit through a balanced healthy approach. Jamie can help with a multitude of fitness goals including body transformation, endurance races, strength training, proper nutrition, and an overall lifestyle change.
Jamie’s current favorite type of exercise is strength training but she incorporates all aspects of fitness into her life. In her spare time Jamie likes to cook and bake, hike outdoors, go to the movies, travel, bike ride or just go to the beach!
